Minecraft: Protect Kids From Sexual Predators

Minecraft is exploding in use as kids out of school sign on to chat with friends, play, and even do school work. But Minecraft is also a popular hunting ground for child sex predators who chat with kids, ask for explicit images, and then blackmail them into taking more. Microsoft, which owns Minecraft, can and must act now. 

The petition to Minecraft says:

“Minecraft is a great place for kids to engage with their friends right now, but I’m worried about the risk of sexual predators. I need to know my kid and others are safe playing Minecraft. Will you make safety improvements to the chat function, like adding moderators to group chats or limiting private messaging to older teens or adults, to help keep kids safe?”
