Middlefield Original Cheese Co-Op has issued a recall for the following products:
- 100% Grass-fed Pepper Jack Cheese — 8 oz packages, 5 lb loaves, and 40 lb loaves
- Horseradish Flavored Cheese — 8 oz packages
- Monterey Jack Cheese
Lot codes: 251661, 2524061, 251672.
The cheese may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, which can cause serious infections and may lead to miscarriages and stillbirths.
These products were distributed in Ohio between July 14–August 7, 2025.
