As grocery costs continue to climb, many families are also dealing with the added uncertainty of whether or not SNAP benefits will be paid this month. With Thanksgiving approaching, and the holiday shopping season following right behind, families are looking for ways to provide all of the holiday magic without the hefty price tag.

This time of year always brings special gatherings and time together with friends and family—which means lots of mouths to feed. To lighten the stress (and the expense), some retailers are putting together convenient deals including all of the classic Thanksgiving staples to feed the whole family.

Here are 4 cost-saving Thanksgiving meal deals to look out for this holiday season—

  • Aldi’s Thanksgiving Meal ($4/person): This meal feeds 10 people for $40 (down $7 from last year’s Aldi Thanksgiving deal). Items are purchased individually rather than in a “kit.”
  • Walmart’s Thanksgiving Meal (under $4/person): This bundle feeds a table of 10 for  $39.92.
  • Walmart Holiday Meal (under $7/person): Choose from bundles for 4 to 24 people to customize this deal for your gathering (price varies based on servings).
  • Sam’s Club Thanksgiving Meal ($10/person): This meal deal serves 10 people for a total of $100.

There will, unfortunately, still be many families who can’t afford a full Thanksgiving meal—but there are resources to help families get connected with free meals, including Thanksgiving and other holiday meals. Local nonprofits, food banks, and Facebook groups are a good place to start.
